Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 6 Tbsp water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup canola oil

Steps

  1. Mix ground flax seeds and water in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Simmer until thickened.
  2. Whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add flax mixture, soy milk, and canola oil. Mix until smooth.
  4. Grease baking sheet.
  5. Cook at 425 F for 20-52 min.
  6. Cool 10 min before serving.
