Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, cut into half rings
  • 1 ⅓ sticks of butter
  • 3 lb tomatoes
  • ⅓ cup cream

Steps

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan.
  2. Add onion and cook on lowest heat for half an hour, covered. Stir until translucent.
  3. Add tomatoes and simmer for half an hour.
  4. Add cream and stir.
